Our Courses

The goal of Theater in Motion Improv is to create a space where students of all ages can freely express themselves, collaborate with others in meaningful ways, and celebrate their creativity. Our courses are designed to nurture the natural curiosity, imagination, and creative expression of participants of all ages, empowering them to develop lasting confidence and life skills.

Courses are offered in Burien and Tukwila or if you are an organization that would like to offer on-site improv theater classes, I can come to your location . Scroll down for more details.

Burien - Preschool Course at Stepping Stones Early Learning Center

45-minute Courses for Ages 3-5

Dates and Times: Tuesday, April 22nd to Tuesday, July 15th from 12:30-1:15 pm (no class on May 27th, June 16th, and June 23rd)

Location: Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, 15513 Ambaum Blvd SW, Suite 102, Burien, WA 98166

Price: $180 up front for 10 classes or three monthly payments of $67

Students participate in a weekly theater class that serves as a playful and engaging introduction to the world of theater! In this class, students will explore their creativity, gain self-confidence, and develop social-emotional skills through story-telling and imaginative play.

The course concludes with an exciting theater presentation for families!

Tukwila - Four-week Courses at the Tukwila Community Center

Courses are offered for youth ages 7-12 and for adults and take place on Thursday evenings.

There is a section every month from January to April.

Are you a working professional looking to enhance your interpersonal and communication skills in a fun and supportive environment? Our adult improv theater course is the perfect opportunity for you! Through engaging improv games and activities, you’ll gain confidence in important skills including active listening, adaptability, creativity, collaboration, and public speaking. We prioritize a warm supportive atmosphere where everyone can feel safe to express themselves and grow.

60-minute Courses for Adults

60-minute Courses for Ages 8-12

$50 per student

Join us for a fun and exciting introduction to the world of improv theater! Throughout the course, students will explore their creativity, develop self-confidence and interpersonal skills through engaging games and activities. They will finish the course with an understanding of the foundations of improvisational theater and scene building.

We incorporate different games and exercises each month, so students are welcome to take the course multiple times.

Preschool Theater Courses

I am happy to come to your preschool to provide onsite classes! Families can enroll their students in a weekly, 30-minute theater class that includes exciting presentations every 4 months. Throughout the classes, students explore their creativity and develop social skills through imaginative play. Enrollment is on a monthly basis, so no long-term commitment is required. After-school Programs

If you are a school that would like to offer an after-school theater program for students, I would love to hear from you! I can come to schools and teach a weekly, hour-long theater course that focuses on the foundations of improvisational theater, acting, and creative writing. The course includes one showcase and one original production, and it gives students the chance to develop important life-skills in a supportive, creative community.

Courses for Adults

I offer adult improv theater courses with a focus on developing professional skills in a welcoming, supportive environment. If you are a community center, college, or university that would like to provide improv theater courses for adults, I’d love to hear from you! Throughout the classes, participants have a chance to practice interviewing, public speaking, making presentations, and having networking conversations through engaging games and activities.
